Metallurgist
Leading international manufacturer of tools and tooling components for the metal stamping and plastics molding industries has an opening for a degreed Metallurgist. Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment responding to customer needs. Knowledge of tool steels and cold work tooling applications is highly desirable. The position requires direct involvement with manufacturing operations along with providing technical assistance to marketing efforts including field presentations. Responsibilities include verification of material quality, specification and control of heat treatment processes, and analysis of product performance. Facilities include a modern vacuum heat treating department and a fully equipped metallographic laboratory with SEM. We offer a competitive wage and benefit program.
